Author Interview with Tracy Badua, Out Now!

Hello, all! 🙂 I just wanted to pop in real quick and let you guys know that I recently had the amazing chance to interview Tracy Badua, who is the middle-grade author of Thea and the Mischief Makers, The Takeout, and a lot more wonderful MG and YA books inspired by Filipino culture!

Said interview is now up on my YouTube channel, and you can check it out here! It was amazing getting to talk with Tracy, and I had a wonderful time interviewing her and finding out her writing process, how she got the idea for her book, Thea and the Mischief Makers, and how Filipino culture inspires her books.

A huge thank you to Tracy Badua for agreeing to this interview!! Her MG books are fantastic (I have read every single on of them, except for her new one, Ghoul Summer, so I should know!) and you can find them all on Goodreads here, plus you can visit Tracy at her author website at tracybadua.com.

About Tracy Badua

Tracy Badua is an award-winning Filipino American author of books for young people. According to her grandmother, Tracy inherited this love of the written word from her great-grandfather, a school teacher in the Philippines. To Tracy, this means writing is in her blood, and she continues this family tradition by telling stories with her own spin in an accessible, heartfelt way.

By day, she is an attorney, and by night, she squeezes in writing, family time, and bites of her secret stash of candy. School and work brought her from California to Washington, DC, and back, and she now lives in San Diego, California.

About Isabelle Knight 166 Articles
Hi! My name is Isabelle Knight, and I'm the young writer and middle-grade author of the Enchantria series! I love writing (though the writing process is usually both magical and maddening) and have been writing since I was ten. When I'm not writing about eerie shadows, daring heroines, and magic, I'm usually stuck with my nose in a book, drawing, or playing the ukulele or tin whistle.
