The Great Divide by Fiona Altschuler | a cover reveal!!!

*pops up from out of a stack of books, beaming and hands you a cup of tea* Hello, all!!! ^^ I hope you’ve all been having a wonderful week! I myself have been terribly busy working on the rewrites of my middle-grade fantasy, Island Keepers, but today, I emerge from my chaotic writing den to share with you all…

A COVER REVEAL!!!

It has been quite a while since I have done one of these, and today, it is with the utmost excitement that I share with you the cover of The Great Divide, a new, upcoming middle-grade fantasy!!! One from a fellow teen writer, Fiona Altschuler, actually!

I am only a few chapters into reading this novel, but it is so full of splendid writing and all the good fantasy feels, and I cannot WAIT for its release!!

The blurb reads:

For seven hundred years, the Great Divide stood; a barrier between two worlds. But now it’s breaking and people are falling through. . .

When Ned Prewett gets off the wrong side of the train and ends up in fairyland, he, along with his best friends Ivan and Kitty, is pulled into the tension between worlds. Perfect for lovers of The Wingfeather Saga and The Christmas Pig, The Great Divide is a story of friendship, loyalty, and growing up.

Without further ado, I present…

(I’d use emojis but my blog does not support them for some reason. Except for smiley face ones. Sigh. Just picture some nice castles and swords here, alright? 🙂 )

Neaaarly there now…

Just a biiiiit further…

This is surprisingly fun y’all XDDD

Alright, you guys, here it is!!! I present to you… THE COVER!!!!!!!!!

Ta-daaaaa!!!

This cover was illustrated by Fiona’s younger sister, Greta, and I adore the colored pencil art!! Isn’t it simply gorgeous??

Speaking of which, you can now pre-order a copy The Great Divide over at Fiona’s website! Or a SIGNED copy as well!!! (Because who doesn’t love signed books??)

I am so very excited for the release of this book, and I hope you are too! :))

Till next time and wishing y’all a fantastic week,

-Isabelle

Hi! My name is Isabelle Knight, and I'm the young writer and middle-grade author of the Enchantria series! I love writing (though the writing process is usually both magical and maddening) and have been writing since I was ten. When I'm not writing about eerie shadows, daring heroines, and magic, I'm usually stuck with my nose in a book, drawing, or playing the ukulele or tin whistle.
