I WON NANOWRIMO!!!!!!!!

I WON NANOWRIMO!!!!!!

Guys, I cannot believe it!!! I have NEVER written this much in my life. EVER. I’ve written so much that my wrists ache. I do need a break… But first, I have to announce this!!!!!!!

I JUST WON NANOWRIMO!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

I am so happy, surprised, and just… I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!! It’s been a whole two weeks and more of writing, and I have 50K!!!!!! And I am very proud to display my winner’s badge on my NaNo profile!!!!!! I literally still cannot believe it.

The whole month I have been working on my new MG fantasy novel (working title is KNA), and I actually started in october, so I have 80K now. But I am very happy – and also kinda dreading this cuz it’s SUCH a long book lol – to announce that that’s not it! There’s still so much left to write in KNA, including a character (Nyxie, your cat will be forever immortalized) that I got by stealing someone’s cat! Not really, of course. Stealing someone’s cat, as in the same way I steal ideas.

And of course, here’s the Winner’s Badge for NaNo 2024!!!

WOOHOO!!! And yeah! I won NaNo! My avatar on NaNoWriMo will now have the purple laurel!!! Thank you guys so much for coming, and I’m wishing the best of luck to all the Wrimos out there! Whether you get to 50K or not, that’s still a success because you’re writing! And that’s the point of NaNoWriMo. Good luck to you all, and I’ll see you in the next post!

Hi! My name is Isabelle Knight, and I'm the young author/middle-grade fantasy & adventure author of the Enchantria series and the Island Keepers series which I plan to traditionally publish! When I'm not writing about eerie shadows, daring heroines, and magic, I'm usually doing writerly ramblings on my blog or YouTube channel!

  1. You were very determened to work towards a goal and stick to it. That is likely more writing than I have done in my whole life!

    • Aww,thanks! Well, everybody works at their own pace. Besides, sometimes writing way too fast gives me wrist strain… Which is not good.
