I HAVE NEWS!!!!!

I HAVE NEWS!!!!!!!!

Hello, hello, everyone!!! So, some of you might’ve noticed a recent change I made to my blog… ;D And not the blog itself, but a certain page on that blog… And some of you might have noticed THIS certain change on that certain page!!!!

…you see it, right?…

(bites lips hard while I try not to burst) No, that is not a glitch!!!! It is real!! Very very real! I just got the line edits back from my dear friend, Leah Larkspur, who also agreed to be my line editor, and, well…. LINE EDITS. They’re basically the smaller edits that you make to improve the flow of your book by rearranging sentences and all that..

LINE EDITS PEOPLE!!! LINE EDITS!!!

So… yeah. There’s no easy way to say this, and ack, I keep TRYING to build tension, but uhhh, I don’t think it’s going very well, so let’s just cut to the chase, shall we? 🙂 It’s official.

It’s been one year.

A whole year of writing, rewriting, and revising and editing Enchantria book four.

The very last book in the Enchantria series.

I would’ve totally nearly given up if not for Valinora Troy, who has been ever so supportive and kind in helping me through all the really tough times in writing.

And now I’m here.

Finishing up some of the line edits.

You know what this means, right?

It’s official.

Like… really, really FOR REAL, official.

Enchantria book four is nearly done.

I have a few more sentences to tweak, one scene to enhance, and then…

It’s ready for publication.

And…

I literally have no idea what else to say.

I won’t lie — I cried when I realized this. Because it’s been a whole year!! I’ve been revising this book for nearly a year now, and I’ve rewritten it in so many ways and nearly given up so many times! This is a world that I’ve spent two years of my life in. Characters I’ve known for practically my whole life (I kid you not – I got the idea for Ravena when I was seven!!! Seven!! …is it concerning that seven-year-old me was already coming up with murderous villains?……). A story I’ve put so much of myself into and that I’ve spent so long writing.

It’s taught me so many things, both about myself and the craft of storytelling.

And to be typing this feels surreal.

Because (I hope) in the summer of 2025… book four will be released. The Enchantria series will be done.

I’ll be letting go of this world, this book, so close to my heart and finally concluding it and getting it out there into the hands of readers.

And I have a whole list of people I need to thank for being on this journey with me, and I so so SO wish I could just thank them all here, but sadly, it’s a VERY VERY long list I need to compile, so rest assured you shall see your names in the Acknowledgments of my book!!!!

But yeah. I really hope you guys are as excited for the release of Enchantria book four as I am, and I really hope you’ll stick around for the rest of my journey! ^^

And also, Enchantria book four does have a title!! Several titles, in fact, but I landed on one, and just because I wanted to do cover teasers/title teasers, I shall be sharing the title with y’all!! But there’s a tiny catch and that is that the title shall be scrambled up. XD I did this with book three of the Enchantria series, and you all are free to guess down in the comments below!

🙂

Good luck, and I hope you’ll excuse me while I go off to scream about the fact that aaaah, this is really happening!!

Isabelle

P.S. If you all are wondering about the actual title, don’t worry — I will be revealing the actual title sometime soon!! Just not right now!
