Hello, my friends! ^^ I hope you’ve all been doing well! Summer has now slipped into fall, and while the leaves here haven’t begun to change color yet, the weather’s been cool, rainy, and a little gloomy. But I don’t really mind. Tis perfect writing weather, after all. :))
And speaking of writing… I’ve got something rather exciting to share with you!
A Christian writing school called The Company is currently hosting a wonderful short story contest this fall, and the winning entry will be published in their online magazine, The Pearl! I thought I’d share this with some of y’all, because it’s a wonderful opportunity for writers, and I think a lot of y’all would be interested in this! ^^
The theme of this year’s contest is Layers (which is such an intriguing theme, I think… Tis seemingly a tad vague, but there’s a great deal you can do with it!), and the deadline to enter is November 20th, 2026.
