Hello, all! ^^ How are you all doing? Life has been crazy, to be honest. (When isn’t it?) I haven’t been writing much, and the truth is, I’ve just been feeling far too tired recently. Like life is just completely against me. Every single bit of noise is far too loud for my ears. And I just wish to be left completely alone. But while I most certainly do not have everything together, I have been trying to focus a little bit more on art.
Hence this blog post, where I shall be sharing four more pieces of artwork that I did in early October! Hope y’all enjoy!
…(has a lot more than four)
(is only sharing four so that y’all don’t get bombarded with a million pieces of artwork)
You shall merely have to wait for the rest, mwahahahahahaha.

Dragonlight by Isabelle Knight
This drawing was inspired by an idea for a creature that I had and has been in my head for ever so long now! (Ever since the beginning of this year, I believe. I keep drawing these creatures!) I normally do black and white sketches, and the original sketch of this creature was indeed in a black and white sketch on paper, but it is so cool to see this in color!!! I also had a lot of fun with using the airbrush tool to create all the light effects!

Bleeding Sky by Isabelle Knight
I still can’t decide whether this looks beautiful or creepy. When I first started drawing this, it looked very desolate, like some sort of apocolypse or something. And now I truly cannot decide whether this looks pretty or eerie.
Perhaps we can just agree that it’s both?

Lonely World by Isabelle Knight
I honestly had a lot of fun with this drawing!! It’s black-and-white and has a bit more of a scribbly element to it, which isn’t usually what I draw, but I decided to experiment with some scribbles and see what came out of it… and this is what I got. It has been dubbed Lonely World due to me picturing the world of this illustration to be very… desolate? Lonely? Black-and-white?
And the last piece of artwork I shall be sharing, which was my very first attempt at drawing an actual human…

Irabel by Isabelle Knight
I named it Irabel because… well, that’s the name I came up for for this character. I’ve no clue who she is or what she’s doing, but that’s her name! It took me a total of three days to complete this piece of art, and while it’s not a stunning masterpiece, tis my first attempt at drawing an actual human without said human looking like a blob, and so I shall take it!
These four art pieces were actually done in October, but it has taken me a while to write this post (especially since my blog doesn’t appear to like me inserting a lot of images into a post!), hence why you are all seeing these only now.
Do let me know down in the comments what you think of my art and also if you have any art tips you want to share! ^^ I love hearing from y’all!
Till next time,
-Isabelle
Oh my gosh Isabelle these are so good, you did such a good job drawing Irabel she looks amazing and its much better then I could ever draw, keep going at it!
Aww, thanks Hallie!! I’m glad you like Irabel! And hey, my art wasn’t great when I first started out either. One must practice! A lot… (totally does not spend several hours on a single art piece and ends up with an aching back)
Whoa…these are all so beautiful!
I especially love “Lonely World”…it evokes a haunting sense of desperate hope and longing, and the way you combined the shaded background with the darker inky lines at the forefront was so magical! Thank you for sharing them!
Aww, thank you!! That means a lot to hear! And Lonely World is one of my favorites — I’m glad to hear it has a haunting feeling! Thanks so much reading!
Always love seeing more of your art!!! I’ve been getting back into drawing myself, frustrating as it may be,
I especially like Irabel. She looks ready to star in an adventure story!!
Thanks!! And ahhh yes, I understand how frustrating drawing was when i first started out. It gets easier though!! And lol I agree!!! I wonder what adventure she’s about to go on… Hmm. battling dragons?
