Eeek!! Ack!!! Yayyy!!!! If you guys can’t already tell, I am so excited to be writing this post!!! Because guess what very special book celebration day is coming up? Children’s Book Week!!!! Hurray!!! 🙂 I’m a middle-grade fantasy author and I absolutely love the kidlit community, and so I am just so excited for this!! A whole week to celebrate children’s books!
I’ve been looking forward to this for months now, and to be honest, I really wanted to do something to celebrate. A book event, celebration, or fair or something like that. But because of my location, well, it’s kinda hard. Which is why I am so excited to announce that I have finally come up with something — each day, on Children’s Book Week, I will be doing a live reading of my middle-grade fantasy, Enchantria: Guardian’s Heir!!
Now, I’m afraid it won’t be every day because I am absolutely swamped. But I have picked out a few dates to be doing the live reading, and they are dates that should (hopefully) align with my very hectic schedule and all that!
So the dates (and time!) for the live readings are going to be:
- May 5th, 9 AM EST (on YouTube!)
- May 7th, 9 AM EST (on YouTube!)
- May 8th, 9 AM EST (on YouTube)
- May 10th, 9 AM EST (Also on YouTube!)
So guys, if you want to join me and Elenora (that’s my main character) to celebrate Children’s Book Week, please do join us for this live reading!! ^^ The events aren’t OFFICIALLY scheduled yet, but I hope to schedule them soon and then update this post with all the links!
The readings will be around 10 to 15 minutes long, and yes, I will be reading in order, so you don’t have to worry about spoilers! And if you guys want to make sure you do stay up to date on all these events, check out my YouTube channel — the live events will be listed there as soon as I get around to scheduling them!
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope to see you there!!! ^^
Hugs and cookies,
Isabelle
